take herbs on full or empty stomach?

i noticed that a lot of girls are saying that they take their herbs on an empty stomach. but i just read on the wonderup bottle to take them "preferably at mealtime".

i was just wondering why the discrepancy? does anyone have any thoughts or comments about this-i am trying to decide what would be best for me to do.

Definately take herbs WITH FOOD. I thought I could just take them on an empty stomach, but I was so wrong! I had lower abdominal pains, a headache, and I felt *very* nauseus --- it sucked. But when I took the herbs with food I had no bad symptoms.

I take them on an empty stomach and it's been OK for me. I never have any kind of diegstive problems though and am not sensitive to anything I eat.

I take herbs on an empty stomach AND at mealtimes, by taking them just before I eat.
