Hey I've read your post about maca and wondered what brand u used and how long it took for u to see results?
Also if it's not too personal.. did ur booty by any chance get sloppier from cellulites and fat or did it stay firm? < i hope u don[t mind me asking but im desperate for a booty like the one u're describing lol.

From her profile page it seems she took: Maca root powder (1/2 tbsp) 1 x per day

Also remember Waxingmoon is a professional trainer - there aren't enough hours in the day for the rest of us to work out that much!

hopefull thank you so much for taking your time out to check that for me!
By the way Louise, do you mean that she works out everyday?
What i will do for my booty is squats and such and combine that with maca, that only takes 10 minutes out of my day,

Hi Double Ace,
Ah yes, the maca rumpa... lol. Well it DID make quite the impression on my posterior. I must admit I was using more than the package stated to use (a tablespoon versus their recommended teaspoon) - so maybe if I had used less it would have been different. But that is water over the bridge (or fat over the butt... lol).
I wish I could say the caboose was a solid slab of muscle - but even though I work out about 2- 3 hours a day there is still a lovely layer of fat. Happily there is not much cellulite - but hey, I am 45 and I do not require my body to be like it was when I was a 25 year old. (truth be told I am in much better shape physically and muscularly at this age).
So, if you are trying for a muscled up rump, then skip the maca and push the protein and butt workouts. But if you are just going for size then by all means maca it up.

lol.. i can't help but laugh everytime you tell your maca story!
all jokes aside, a toned butt with a bit of fat layer on top is very desirable, because if your butt is too muscular it will feel and look funny, and obviously if it's all fat then it won't ''sit'' right..
What was the brand u used by the way? I'm planning on purchasing mine from mountainroseherbs.com but am afraid i won't get good results if the brand really makes a difference

The brand of maca I used was Navitas and it was a gelatinized powder, which concentrates the maca much like an extract concentrates an herb. It was a fairly pleasant smokey tasting powder that I mixed in with my morning protein drink.
Yeah, it lulled me with its pleasant taste but then it bit me on the ass... I am still haunted by its legacy. My pants scream every time I shove my big bootie into them. If only they made pants the way they make bras so I could go up a couple of 'cup' sizes (or 'mug' sizes) in the rear. The horrors...the horrors...
Surprisingly, no one has commented on my largess. You would think I would be plagued with questions about my 'windfall' but apparently a bigger butt is not a sought after commodity for most. Ah well. My husband appreciates the increase and that is all that matters to me.
All's well that ends well,

waxingmoon, how many bags of maca did you consume? If you took 1 tbsp per day then how long did the 16 oz last as I thought 1tsp per day will last for around 3 months? thanks!

Hi Silv,
Well that bag of maca is still sitting on my shelf. I had to look back at my program page and I think I used it for about a month. I started off with about 1/2 tbsp to begin with but then I was consumed with the 'more is better' brain fog and began to take about a tablespoon per day. I would estimate that at least half of the bag is left. (that bag and I may grow old together...lol)

Waxingmoon,
that's just so unbelivable (in a good way). Only if our breasts can respond to this that fast...
