Hi Cselestyna!
I was taking herbs before I switched to Feng Shui's routine which included that type of massage you're talking about. On herbs my breasts were sore/swolen most of the times (at least in the second half of my cycle anyway). When I stopped herbs and started Feng Shui's massage I noticed that they got smaller in the beginning because they were not swolen any longer. After a while I noticed a real growth, not just swolen breasts. It is difficult to explain, it is the increase which stays after the period. So, basically your breasts don't swell before period, they just gradually grow. Massage flashes out toxins and extra fluid, I think this is why in the beginning the breats appear smaller. But you don't want "swolen breasts", right? You want a real growth! :-)
