I did not make any new statements about reishi in general Lotus, only about that specific product that I went to the trouble to email Swanson's customer support about. We confirmed that it's the triterpenes that inhibit 5ar, and I just confirmed there are no triterpenes in one specific product in order to help people make better advised purchase decisions. With all the extracts ruled out that are now ruled out we now know that the only ones left are rather pricey. That's the ONLY point I was making with my posting of the information I received from Swanson's. That the cheap Swanson's extract that everyone thought was an amazing deal because it had triterpenes, does not, in fact, have triterpenes.
