I used to do hold and release like 20 minutes on then 5 off and so on, playing with the pressure too but since I saw my swelling wasn't lasting a lot I changed the methodology and instead I do 7:2 now : theoretically the negative pressure you do in a short period of time helps to divide cells and thats why you get more swelling. I will keep doing this way until June and take notes about this method though cause I will post lots of tips and thoughts about pumping journey this summer in 2017 .(I am doing a big documentary about all the doubts I have had during this full year ( in 5 days I hit 1 year pumping!!) , progress, supplements, results, tips, so far)

Also, last year I gained 16 kgs (35 pounds )  Rolleyes sooo for new years resolution I decided I was going to loose 4kgs (8) and meanwhile pump . These last two months I've noticed differences in swelling depending on my cycle and days I was sick or not (infections, high fever, hate it) and I must admit I haven't gotten a good swelling like I used to . Plus, I was 89 cm last year and today I measured myself ( I haven't since october) and I lost 2cm (about 1 inch) It makes me feel upset sometimes but I won't give up, and you shouldn't either. Remember, this is a JOURNEY not a championship. Be patient, consistent and everything will be fine!

Thank you again, Sweetorange. You really are sweet. I actually always do pump and hold because when I tried pump and release, I didn't notice any difference. So annoying! At least you get some swelling. I still don't know what it means! If I remember correctly you also grew a couple of cup sizes and you grew fast.

Wow, I hope you share your documentary with us?? I think many could benefit. I would definitely be interested in knowing more.

You're right, this isn't a race, it's a journey. And it's different for everyone. It's hard to be patient but I'm working on it!

Yes I have grown two cups already but this system needs perseverance and being kind of, let's say , smart. It takes you time , physical time I mean . For growing a bit (by a bit I mean a cup) you need more or less 100 hours (that's what I have experienced at least) but the day has just 24 , we are human beings, we need to socialise therefore... so it cannot absorb you . You have to be multitasking sometimes (i.e doing homework, research for NBE, etc) while you are pumping [in my case I do NBE research, food research and sometimes research for my doctorate in law as well] because you need 1h everyday of your life at least (and 1h in a day means %4 of your day) . You also need to take into account your health conditions, age, your skin (in my case i suffer dermatitis so i can't use dumb topicals) etc etc etc. It seems complicated at first , but once you are into your routine and focused on your goals, everything will be fine. Make up a schedule , it's essential.
I'd suggest you using 7:2 method for some weeks, like 4-5 weeks and see what's going on. Swelling it's a good sign but I read on this forum swelling may vary from one person to another. Be patient, please!

Oh and yes, I'm doing the documentary because I think having information condensed on the forum is beneficial for all the users. Also, because there are lots of people who have helped me with my journey and I do have to be the same, not just like an obligation but because I want to help other people too.

Sweetorange its been a week i have given up noogling.. i do love to read about yours and everyone elses progress. Good luck to you all x

honeeeey Sad why? because you haven't gotten a good swelling? can I message you?
Sweetorange i get a really good swelling that lasts 3-4 hours but after its gone everything is just gone. Every day for the past 12 weeks. Then i started reading posts of some people on breast nexus who have said they get the swelling but after 8 months of persistent noogling they still havent grown. How can you swell so much and then it comes straight back down. Lotus said its like a balloon that inflates then deflates if you dont eat the foods that will feed the cells to stay. Such as coconut oil etc. I want it to work so bad but its disheartening when you swell up to a c cup and then its comes straight back down. Of course you can pm me but all im reading at the moment is how noogleberry is temporary and doesnt work. I think i only swell because my breasts have expanded durig breast feeding 11 yrs ago. Im aslo 38 yrs old- whats the likelihood of me growing at this age. It all feels like a nasty joke but im not laughing from it.
