Airlock allows you to remove the pump, which can be convenient, but I think it encourages you to leave the cups on for longer periods of time. Do not leave them on for more than 15 minutes, then remove, massage for a few minutes, then carry on with pumping. Also during the 15 minute period many people find that the breast slowly expands, so they give an extra squeeze on the pump about every 5 minutes. All this makes me believe that the airlock is not much of an advantage.
Contoured vs non-contoured is a matter of comfort and there is no general consensus on which is better. I have read both sides where a person has started with one then switched to the other and declared it was much more comfortable. The contoured do allow the cups
to be placed slightly closer together for better cleavage.
Oh really? Massages are more effective than pumping?
I'm taking "Nature's Way Fenugreek seed" in pill form. Oh I see! I'll have to look for an oil form to use it topically then. Which do you think is more effective for breast massages? Coconut oil or fenugreek?
I have never heard of someone using fenugreek oil exclusively, only added to an oil like coconut oil. I think it needs to be diluted. I have also read that some who purchased fenugreek as a powder, added it to their oil. You describe your fenugreek as pills, are they capsules that can be opened?
Thank you for the reply.

I see, I'll try looking for fenugreek oil then! I'm close to the end of the bottle anyway so I could switch to the oil soon. I think these capsules can be opened, but I've never tried.
