Dealing with damaged domes

Well ladies, Fran joins the Brava bunch. I picked up a used set on eBay. Generally good shape. Less than half a cycle on them. The right dome does have a bit of damage to the sole. It is in the upper right quadrant. Has anyone discovered how to rehabilitate a damaged dome, or have tips for keeping it going as long as possible? I try to pull that area out as much as possible, but the suction seems to be able to pull it back in. Any advice will be appreciated.

That is all you can do with em. Is try to keep the weak area pulled out and hope it doesn't get worse. I sometimes wear em upside down as it changes the angle they are worn on. It helps a bit.

I've tried that too - the little itchy bit at the edge sometimes turns in and annoys me, doing half the session normally then turning upside down or swapping R for L gives the skin a rest. Using an airlock with increased suction will hold them on tighter but be careful to increase suction gradually to avoid an arc shaped hickey mark! Other people on here have recommended buffing the non-sticky area with a green scouring pad to make it sticky - there's a post about it somewhere.

p.s. welcome to the Brava group ... don't get discouraged, the first week is the worst then it's not so bad at all. I also only started to consistently get D cup swelling after 4-5 weeks.
Just a warning about ebay - a seller quoted me £350 for new domes (domes only) including shipping (both in UK), to get the new domes from Brava is only £200 and that includes next day courier delivery!
Also don't buy a ready made airlock, you can buy the tubing yourself for small change and it takes about 5 mins to build yourself.
Good luck x

Helpful information indeed. Fortunately all is tacky and the seal holds well. A L / R flip would place the damaged area over my sternum. The firmer surface might belp. I'll try that.
Louise, the first night was hell. Last night was my sixth. None as bad as the first. I do wake VERY early and don't really get back to sleep. Other than that, problems have been minimal. Minor skin irritation, a little soreness. Nothing that I can't handle.
I'm keeping it down to about 11 hours for the first week or so, then will ramp up. I'm really impressed with the system. I'm determined to stick with it and make it work for me. My body type is much like Seri's and if I get half the result I'll be delighted.
Thanks again for your advice.
