Short cycles are a sign of more estrogen then progesterone. 28 days is the most average cycle lenght, so thats perfect actually. If you naturally have a long cycle it could be a sign of overall low hormones or more progesterone then estrogen. I think now you are lowering your dht estrogen becomes more dorment making your cycles shorter. If I were you I would change something in your routine when your cycle becomes even shorter next month.

When I took fennel, pm in the past I always got shorter and heavier cycles up to 20 days!!  When I used pc cream my cycles become so ridiculously long like 56 days. Thats when I decided herbs dont work for me, If I use them I keep my dosages low, otherwise I only mess up my hormonal health.

Thanks for your input, hannah! Do you think something as simple as spearmint tea will mess up my cycles that much? You’re right, 28 day cycle was perfect this month. I definitely don’t want it any shorter next month. 

I always wondered why my cycles were a bit longer 32-36 days), but was never concerned because it gave me an extra week without my period!

Lowering androgens alone shouldnt just cause you shorter cycles, no but there is something tricky about spearmint it promotes the blood flow in the uturus. So to stay on the safe side(you dont want to loose big amounts ofblood, you will loose your minerals) i would take a break during your period. But you can also just keep an eye on it...
