My cleaning products are almost empty; should I order from Brava? Is there something else I can use?
What are you guys using to clean the domes after wearing them for 12 hours. What are you guys using to clean your skin before putting on the domes?

I have never repurchased the Brava products. I always wash the domes well with Johnson's baby shampoo (the original kind) and also wash my skin with it. The I put Eucerin calming lotion on my skin. If I have irritated skin, I use some Desitin. At my worst, I got what I believe was a fungal infection and I bought some over the counter anti-fungal cream that the pharmacist showed me. It cleared it all up in a week but until then, it was itchy, red and spreading. I still use the same domes so I have no fear that the silicone was unclean.
I used aloe vera gel now before I put the domes on and have quit using the non-stick pads. The aloe works really well. Smear it on, let it dry, and the domes stick on just fine. (Someone else suggested the aloe a while back so it was not my original idea!)

I use pretty much any soap (liquid or bar) to wash the domes after wearing that I would use to wash myself. It doesn't seem to reduce the sticky at all.
I don't wash my chest before putting the domes on. I do use the aloe vera gel though. I apply a thin layer of the aloe gel and let it dry a few minutes. In the morning I wash the domes and take a shower. I have never had any skin problems aside from the usual redness from the pressure of the silicone rims. That goes away completely in a few hours. Occasionally I use a little bit of hydrocortisone cream on the red areas if they seem worse than usual or feel itchy when I take the domes off.

I second johnsons wash (but think anything simple will do) and aloe vera. I treated my rash the same as Roakie, nothing worked till I discovered the antifungal. the skin prep pads are gross and itchy!!! I wish I'd stopped using them sooner. If I ever ripped off the domes early in the morning because I wanted to sleep on my side, my skin felt dreadful and sticky. Aloe has changed everything.

Trigger, I have to thank you for mentioning the antifungal cream several weeks ago. I never would have thought of that but I, too, had "something" that was different than your standard rash. It was spreading, itchy, and looked awful.

Instead of the no-sting prep pads, someone on this forum used 100% pure aloe vera gel. I got that from the pharmacy and it worked great for me. It was only $3.99 instead of the very expensive prep pads. Also, baby shampoo to clean the domes and Aveeno 100% natural body lotion after taking the domes off. I got all these same ideas from the Brava coach too when I had a huge rash from the brava products. I still have all my products and they're almost full because they were too harsh for me!
