Hi Ladies,
My name is Nyah. I would like to share my budgeting tips for Brava with you. I am no expert however, through trial and error, and many hours of research, I have discovered ways to minimize the expense on Brava Domes and Products. I am in Philadelphia Pa. USA, but most of the alternatives should be available in Pharmacies, Supermarkets, and via on-line.
Brava Dome Cleansing Antiseptic Spray
#1. You don't HAVE to buy this, it could get costly. The Brava DVD and Maunal states that you may use Baby Shampoo or Ivory soap. Use IVORY SOAP. It cost about $2.00 for a pack of 3 bars that should last you more than 10 weeks, considering you ONLY use them to wash your DOMES. For me, the spray cost about $30.00 (including the shipping). I also needed to order more before the end of the 10 weeks. So thats $60.00.
No Sting Skin Prep Wipes
#2. Please, please PLEASE.... you don't NEED to buy this. This product cost $50.00 for 50 wipes... thats not even enough for 8 weeks. So you already know at minimum you must spend $100.00 during a 10 week session.... but who just does 10 weeks with Brava???? This is EXPENSIVE. One time I ordered the wipes but ran out before they got delivered to my home. I called and spoke to the Brava Rep. She told me to buy 100% Pure Aloe Vera Gel and use it until the Skin Prep Wipes arrived. I got the package 4 days later. I've used the wipes (because I paid for them). However, I'm on my 2nd session (8 weeks in) and since week #1 I've used FRUIT OF THE EARTH 100% ALOE VERA GEL 240z. It cost me less than $5.00 and I have more than 1/3 of the bottle left. You can also use it as a shaving gel (which I do sometimes), so thats 2 for 1, lol. If you insist on using the wipes, you can find them on line for under $20.00 and sometimes cheaper. Make sure they are EXACTLY the same brand you are using and contains NO ALCOHOL. This goes for the Aloe Vera Gel as well, it must be ALCOHOL FREE!!!! You can apply a generous amount around your breast (just like the wipes) and it dries sticky in about 10mins. Just make sure you're completely dry. It holds the seal great if not better in my opinion!!
Brava Breast Wash and Lotion
#3. Only used it for 2 weeks. this was simply too drying to my skin, in result I develped a TERRIBLE rash. So bad I had to stop wearing the system for 3 days. During the 3 days I was instructed to stop using the Brava Wash and Lotion. I switched to AVEENO DAILY MOISTURIZING BODY WASH and BODY LOTION. Only use the DAILY MOISTURIZING, even if other Aveeno products have the collodial oatmeal in them. I have used scented and unscented, both are fine. A big bottle of each total around $20.00. I have replaced my regular body wash and lotion with this product (love the way it moisturizes my skin all day). Use the Aveeno products only AFTER you take off your domes. Prior to Dome wear, wash your breasts with Johnson & Johnson BABY SHAMPOO. It can be used to clean your domes if you run out of Ivory Soap or Cleasing Spray. It gives some moisture to the breast without oils. It may help those who experince lots of itching during wear. A large bottle can be found for under $4.00. I can't tell you how much $$ you will save if you switch (I never bought more of the brava brand products), I just thought it was a helpful tip. I haven't had a problem with a rash since.
Brava Domes
#4. You wanna hold on to your domes as long as possible. Washing them and storing them daily is a must. But soon you may find you don't hold a seal or may see decrease in swelling. Time to get more Domes right?????? Try this before you do..... switch the domes. Place the R on the Left breast and the L onto the Right breast. The white clouds or any other indications of worn domes show mostly around the armpit areas. Switching the domes will place the worn part in the center of the chest. The better part of the domes are now around the armpits. I got a better seal and more swelling. By the way, a brava coach gave me this tip. She knew I needed new domes. They were on back order and I really didn't have $300.00 (double ouch...lol!). She gave me the tip to buy me some time until I could afford new ones. I've started a new session with those same worn domes (I'm in my 2nd Brava session, 8 weeks in). I am about to purchase another set, but thats only because I'm growing out of them. I need DEEPER Domes now. YES LADIES, I am GROWING. 2 1/2 inches and counting!!!
By using these tips, I saved about $460.00 at minimum. Good Luck Ladies and I hope this information is helpful.
xoxo

You are a genious!!! Thank you so much for those tips
I am in week 12 on my first cycle and I really want to do another one later. However it's really expensive for me to order over seas, my currency is extremly low, and I don't have Brava in my country.
I will soon run out of my roll-on prep and I am so glad it is possible to use aloe vera gel instead. And the tip on using the domes on the opposite breast could save me to buy another set of domes for next cycle. (Another set of domes costs me now twice the prize I paid for the entire system).
Thank you so much and congratulations on your 2 and a half inch
