I was told most injections act similarly to bio identical but are synthetic(like ethinyl estradiol, cypionate etc) but it's possible yours are proper bio identical, you'd also definitely be getting atleast some form of peaks(maybe no mood swings though) even if injected weekly because it's going in at a big dose all at once then slowly fizzling out till your next week injection whereas pellets are a consistent constant release, bio identical hormones are mostly made in a compounding pharmacy/lab so they don't usually have a brand name(ie progynova etc etc all synthetic) just an FYI, my estradiol pellets implants are made in a lab by a compounding pharmacist these are bio identical and have no brand name same with my progesterone I get made up, the only bio identical hormones that I know of that has a brand name is utrogestan which is a micronized progesterone branded hrt. My testosterone levels aren't even 1 they are 0.7 so non existent lmao as expected of being post operative so it's not possible to get much lower than that lol, I would never take testosterone because that would be kinda defeating the purpose of everything for me being a trans woman I don't need testosterone whatsoever, progesterone gives me my libido and keeps me stable mood wise. My endo has been working with trans patients for over 20 years people fly interstate to see him in my country
But yes as you are a natal woman being on a small amount of testosterone makes sense seeing as natal women need alil bit of it more so than us trans girls(your hrt would be keeping things healthy down in the vaginal region too)
I have no issues with libido, mood swings or anything of that sort besides my usual mental health issues that I was diagnosed with when I was 7 years old
Thanks for the congrats lovely! Also I've gotta say how heartwarming it is to have two other women(you and Shela) who are very active on the female side of the forum because for a good while there it felt like I was all by my lonesome posting to the void ahah, grateful the forum has picked up!
