anyone else only do 10 hours?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am really having a hard time wearing my brava for any more than 10 hours a night. I know the swelling and growth would come quicker if I could....last time I did it I think I got in at least 12 hours a day, but now I am lucky if I make 10. How do any of you do it? I don't even work (outside of the home) but I can't seem to put it on any earlier than 8:00 p.m. My kids don't go to bed until 9:00 and I can't pick up my 2 year old with them on. I can't bend over and brush his teeth, I can barely get him dressed. My hubby is very supportive, but come on, and I not supposed to do anything for the baby for 20 weeks? Then there is the sweating issue. If i put on the domes too early, they drive me nuts. I get sweaty doing anything and then the domes get itchy. I like to put them on around 9:00 or 9:30 and then go straight to bed, even if I am not going to sleep. Then there is the morning dilema--i have to get my 6 year old ready for school and out to the bus stop by 8:00....I have to go outside with him, so the domes have to be off by 7:30 at the most. I get up around 6:00 with the 2 year old, and somehow manage not to have to carry him around (fortunately my 13 year old is very helpful with him before she goes off to school)but I can't do much of anything for me or anyone else until the domes come off. Again, the sweatiness problem and they are so cumbersome and uncomfortable by morning. I am very grumpy when I get up and have to leave them on for an hour. These things are such a pain in the neck. I am irritated because I think I could cut my weeks down if I could keep them on for 14 hours a day or so, like some of you do. I am figuring that to go from my small B cup to a small C (which is my goal) I will have to wear these things until spring. I can't imagine putting me and my family through this until then.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I still have A.C.'s going in some rooms just so that I don't get so sweaty but it doesn't seem to help. How in the world do you girls wear these things for so long a day?
HELP!!!!

I've heard so many people saying that they can't do much or move around much with them on - are you using a smartbox or airlock? with the airlock I can do pretty much anything - get ready for work, clean the house... i understand the sweaty part though - AND the itchiness!
are your domes still tacky? Louise said her domes were less itchy once the tackiness came off.
You can't really do much about the sweatiness though..do you think putting a couple sheets of kleenex inside the domes would help absorb the moisture? i know that once they get sweaty, it's easier to lose a seal....
perhaps when you wake up in the morning, take them off just long enough to wipe them down and put rinse your chest with water to freshen up and then put them back one for that last hour?
I do that sometimes, and it helps
good luck!
oh, I also find it hard to wear more than 10 hours. i have 2 roommates who i will NOT tell. i manage 11-12 hours, and once a week i do 15, and for 2 days in a row only 10...

i don't use the smartbox anymore...it died and i refuse to pay $350 to get it fixed. I have been sucking the air out myself and fastening with a rubber band. I get very good suction that way, much better than i ever did with the smartbox. I am determined this morning to get 11 hours in. I put them on at 8:00 and I am determined to keep them on until 7:00. I even just managed to empty the dishwasher without them being too annoying! I decided that instead of fretting because I can't do alot of extra hours, I will just start aiming for 11 hours a day instead of 10. Maybe in a few weeks I can start aiming for 12. Or at least 12 on the weekends. Thanks for the tips!
Now if someone could just convince me to be happy with the size of my breasts, i would save myself some misery

The tacky ins't enough to hold them on and just irritates the skin so I rubbed it all off my last set and have rubbed some off my new set. I also only rinse the domes to get the sweat out in the mornings and then properly clean with baby shampoo 1-2x weekly. The secret of comfy skin is oil. I put zinc cream on the bits that get rubbed most (mainly the sternum and just a small bit by the armpits) then I'm careful in the bath to not wash this off in the evening. Then I put Aloe Vera gel where the domes will rest and over the top I spray Johnson's baby oil light oil spray. With hard suction I can even work out in mine even with the largest size. I then have a good wash with a flannel in the morning to rub off all the creams then put vitamin E oil and more aloe vera gel on. I wouldn't say I was enojoying my nights with Brava but it's ok and hope to do 26 weeks minimum although not sure how best to organise my Brava time and break time to maximise my result before next June / July.

StacyEllen - In response to your original question - have you thought about buying a BB to use with Brava? I used BB with Brava for the last 10 weeks of my last session. BB is super strong, you really cannot appreciate how strong it is until you try it even if you've used an airlock before. The airlock with Brava sucked as hard as my mouth could suck is not as much as a quarter power setting on BB. 1 hour with BB is worth much more than 1 hour Brava so maybe you could use BB for 1 hour in the early evening then put the kids to bed then Brava overnight. I found BB helpful for growing the cleavage area and top of the breasts.

It seems from your post that this just isn't the right time in your life to be doing this.
From what I understand, when you have a baby, the main concern is to keep it alive. My sister just had a baby 7 weeks ago and I can't imagine her ever undertaking something like Brava anytime soon as she barely has time to even shower.
I would wait until you have more time to yourself. The children have to come first, and if it's interfering with taking care of them and adding more stress for you----why not wait? Breasts aren't that important...

Were you under the impression my son was just born? I am not sure what I wrote but he is two years old....when he was a newborn my primary concern was "keeping him alive", now I am trying to do something for myself. I would agree that it is not the best time to do this, but I am not the type of mom who puts everything off until my kids are older....when you do that nothing ever gets done, because something is always making life difficult. My parents are very unwell....next year my excuse could be that I am too busy taking care of them.
I am sorry if I gave the impression that my boobs are more important than my family, that was not my intention. I was just venting. That's why I enjoy this board, that's what we get to do, when we can't vent to anyone else. I exercise every day of my life, because I think it's important to take care of me, Brava is just another thing I am doing for myself. I like the way I look when I am not a flat chested A cup, and confidence makes me a happier wife and mother.

Well the original post originally said "..pick up the baby" not "the 2 year old" though that's what it says now. Hm.
When you say baby people usually think fresh out of the oven is all.

I will probably call him the baby until he is five
That's how I think of him, he seems like a baby. (compared to the big kids in the house)
