Hi, Amy. If you read the excerpt from the counselor on my post below under 6-week Brava experiment, you will see that the body doesn't even begin to create new tissue until at least a month into Brava. So, at six weeks, it might be that you are still way too early to tell. I am not one to give any testimony at this point, however, since I have just finished up four weeks. I have not retained anything either. Hopefully some of the more experienced ladies will provide some encouragement.

I am in my third cycle of Brava (1st time was 4 years ago, 2nd time 3 years ago) and each time I can honestly say it seemed like nothing was happening until at least week 8. That is why 10 weeks would have been a waste of my time...I have to go at least 20 weeks to see real growth. I am now in week 18 (17 full weeks) and I finally feel like i still have some serious swelling by 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I am preparing for a "vacation" from Brava after week 20, but will try for another 10 weeks starting in January. I know it is slow and torturous waiting for growth, but patience is the only way to achieve anything. When you figure you are only gaining 1 drop of fluid a day....that would take weeks to notice in your cup size. The first time I did Brava I did 32 weeks (which seemed like most of the year!) and I went from a small A to a full B. I was SO happy and kept all of the growth that I expected to (what I had by week 15 was what I kept) but 8 months of the year is a lot of sleepless nights to achieve 1 cup. But implants were not an option for me, so it was either perseverance and lack of sleep or be a pathetic A cup for the rest of my life. This time (i did lose some growth during 1 1/2 years of breastfeeding) I began a small B and by week 10 I was a full B. I am now a good sized C. (which I won't keep if I quit at 20 weeks) It is a long process, but worth it in the end.
