I feel the easy curves device works just fine, when I first started using it, using it on the number 2 setting (there are 6) made me very sore, even now I only use it on 4 or 5. It does strengthen the chest muscles, thus making the chest firmer, but it won't increase your size like they claim. As far as Noogleberry, I recommend browsing their website and forum, read as much as possible to know all you can before going forth with it. Also if you sign up to the forum as a forum member you get a discount.
Also as a reference to the easy curves being enough resistance... I use to go to the gym alot and weight trained, although light weight compared to a male of course, but still. I also took a class called Body Pump at the gym which is a fast paced weight training class, and I still feel the effects of using the Easy Curves. I've had mine about 3 years and it still works fine, it's pretty high quality. I think the way you use it uses muscles that conventional chest exercises don't get to, so maybe that's why it still works for me. I do regular workouts still btw. I go between Zumba DVDs, The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout on the kinect, and beach body power half hour DVDs. I try to get in at least 3 workouts per week, but try to work out daily.
