I don't know the answer to your question. I have not seen shrinkage of the nipple. I'm sure there are many other in the forums who may have some comment on that.
In my case, the nipples got puffy not long after I began with the PM, and that has never changed. They are always obvious on me except when I wear a spandex tank under my shirt to squash things.
