Some say start on the first day of you period & some say 7 days after the last day of period. Some say never to take pm while bleeding ...

Anyone got any ideas...i'm getting confused!
My bcp (yasmin) starts on the first day of menstruation, take for a month, then take break for next period to start. I just got my cycle regular again ater messing it up with herbs few yrs ago. Now it's always bang on time. I'll be taking a break from bcp while doing pm, as my boyf is away workin for a few months.
