From my understanding and what I have read on the subject, progesterone can stop growth since it competes with estrogen. If you raise estrogen you lower progesterone and if you raise progesterone you lower estrogen, that may be why progesterone stops NBE growth, since it lowers estrogen levels.

The reason some women may have grown on Progesterone cream alone is because they are progesterone deficient.

It's good to take a test (blood test, saliva test) to check hormone levels and decide which NBE program will work for you. If you are progesterone deficient, than progesterone cream will work for you. If you are estrogen deficient than PM, or phytoestrogens will work for you.
