A cup is pretty much the smallest size at which a heavily padded bra might work. Once you get into the AAA's and smaller, cleavage becomes literally impossible. For the unfortunate ones, such as myself a racerback is infinitely more useful for creating upper bust fulllness than padding. The bra still has to be lined (made out of that stifff foam) or have a small amount of gradiated padding. Anymore than that and it looks like superglued small bowls to my chest
Ive tried all sorts of expensive bras but luckily, the best by far was from Walmart. Its the l.e.i. brand (yes the crappy jeans company). It's a racerback with gradiated paddingand a very diagonal demi cup shape. Unfortunately, it doesn't come in AA, so you have to buy an A cup but get one band size. too small. Im actually a triple AAA, but i find this more useful as a concept than a cup size, since it's usually not possible for the cups of a AA bra to be made any shallower. If you ewant to get a band size that actually fits, VS Pink lined (not padded) pushups in AA are good, and they can be great if you combine them with one of those "instant racerback" strap clips.
