Usually people who have 'thyroid problems' have a perfectly normal thyroid, but their liver does not convert enough thyroid hormone into a biologically active form. So they have all of the symptoms of hypothyroidism while having normal TSH and T4 and the doctor tells them they are normal. I would ask for a saliva test of T3 and reverse T3. I'd think long and hard about armour, it can be a life sentence.
