Hi Mel, I actually posted this link a while ago
and I totally agree - PM needs to be taken seriously. Before NBE I had 1-2 non-ovulatory cycles per year. I've always been doing BBT chartimg, so I do know if I ovulate or not. Sometimes I even use ovulation test stripes.
Anyways, when I was on herbs I had late ovulation but I wasn't long enough on herbs to tell if they cancell ovulation or not. I rememeber I missed one during 3 months.
On BO ovulation was really really early in the cycle - day 6 -8. No non-ovulatory cycles for 6 months. At all.
The first month on PM - non-ovulatory cycle, 3rd month - non-ovulatory cycle. I started supplementing with PC because if non-ovulatory cycles happen often it very quickly leads to progesterone deficiency. Since then I didn't have any non-ovulatory cycles but I also reduced to maintenance dose after 6 months on PM.
I do see a pattern here. I think PM acts as a natural BC.
