- Steroidal saponins (amplify all hormones): fenugreek, goat's rue, shatavari, wild yam
- Connective tissue (raw support materials): MSM, chicken feet, collagen, tendon, cartilage, etc. Omega 3s and copper play a lesser role too.
- Phytoestrogens: PM, hops, red clover, soy
- Progestrones: Synthetic. No herbal sources but vitex and dong quai encourage the body to make more.
- Prolactin: fennel, vitex, many other nursing herbs that aren't steroidal saponins.
- Anti-DHT ("bad" testosterone): saw palmetto, flax (also source of omega 3s)
Animal fat tends to concentrate xenoestrogens from pesticides and other pollutants in the animal's diet, and are dangerous estrogens to be avoided whenever practical. Can liner in acidic canned foods, polycarbonate and paraben preservatives are other common sources.
