A lot of NB users have this problem. So many in fact, that Noogleberry sells foam rings to make the domes more comfortable. Others have used foam tape to pad the edges. If you're looking for a quick fix, I have found simply tucking a small amount of fabric (from a t-shirt or something) under the edge where it is hurting helps a bit.
