My position, that Polysorbate 80 (Tween 80) is not proven safe, remains unchanged. There are other emulsifiers that could be used. Companies that use this need to reject it. I have seen two different chemical names, and have discussed a potential third, all called Polysorbate 80. Which one are you referring? Which one is St. Herb referring? I occasionally see foods that have Polysorbate 80 on the label. I avoid them. Feel free to use it if you see fit.
