I haven't figured out how to take photos by myself either. I tried using a mirror, but they still don't come out looking like a bikini model 
. You might try a rubber band or ribbon or scrunchie for your hair and maybe you can get the mirror trick to work better for you than I was able. I'm sure if you look in that same mirror and raise your arms that way, you can see the difference in appearance.
