This was already answered on the NB forum, but I figured I would repeat the most solid answer on here for anybody who's concerned...
I forgot who it was that said it, but suction is used by cancer patients who've undergone masectomy, or the like, to regrow breast tissue. So no worries. But it would be wise to still use care when pumping so you won't end up with purple/bruised breasts.
