My number one advice is that more is not better (considering PM dosages). I have been taking the recommended dosages and have not had any problems with stalling and such. I have read lots of times that if you take a lot of PM you will actually not grow. It took me about two months to feel a difference, not big but still difference. From there on, the difference has been gradual; continuing at a slow rate like with hair growth; it grows slowly. When I was taking fenugreek with PM, I was taking them at different times because I personally experienced low blood sugar when taking fenugreek without food. Herbs are known to be much effective when they are absorbed by themselves, that means no food. But fenugreek is known to lower blood sugar levels. We get sugar from what we eat. If you have an empty stomach, the sugar you have available is the one stored in the liver. You take fenugreek without food and it can have the effect of lowering the effect of the stored glucose (sugar) from the liver. If you eat and then take fenugreek, you will affect the sugar you eat but will still have a back up in the liver. This highly depends on many things: the dosage of fenugreek, your body, your glucose levels... Unfortunately, my state was not in agreement with me taking it without food. Therefore, I was taking PM before meal and fenugreek after.
