I too have a thyroid problem (can't remember if it's under or over), but I'm taking thyroxine tablets, so am I too per-menopausal. But what actually does peri-menopausal mean?
Also, how does having a thyroid problem affect your success, etc, with NBE.
Thank you so much
Hi, I think it means you are in range with your hormones to that of someone who is entering the experiencing a shift in hormonal changes entering the early stages menopause.
Thyroid hormones tell your body what to do with many hormones it produces. Since I have a bunk thyroid, my metabolism is slow and the fat goes to the wrong places before the right places.
It sucks. I wish to have caught my condition early. But I still have my ovaries and pituitary to work NBE. I have weak adrenals that I am addressing now.
My advice for any woman attempting NBE: know your body. Its all we have to gauge in our NBE protocols we chose to do.
