I'm currently trying to lose some weight (5-10lbs), and I'm REALLY hoping I don't lose anything. I've grown a good bit already, so I doubt I'll lose any, but it might slow my growth a little. I'm trying to up my protein intake (I should normally be around 60-80g of protein for a day, but I figure now I should try to stay around 100-120g a day), but it's pretty hard when you can't afford protein shakes or bars everyday. So I'm going to slowly incorporate more and more protein bars into my daily diet, but realize keeping my intake so high will be hard while also lowering calories so much.
They key is to keep your hormones level while you lose weight. As you lose fat, your estrogen levels will likely drop a little, since fat causes extra estrogen production. However, this might also make it harder to lose weight, as using estrogen hormones in NBE will be more likely to cause fat. So I guess this is really where it gets tricky to balance the two. I think this might be part of my problem in losing fat. And no matter what you do, your body will burn fat where it wants to (you can thank genetics for this). So you may lose breast fat first, and you may lose it last, or even somewhere in between. Nothing can really prevent this when losing weight.
The more you lower your BMI, the more of a chance you have of losing breast fat, so keep this in mind and don't go overboard. Good luck in weight loss and NBE!
