I agree with Luxy. It's your body, do what you want with and to it.
But as a person with 2 tattoos I feel that I must advise you to be sure to get something you with be happy with, not just for today but for years.
And if you know that you are fickle get something in color (i.e. red or even black light ink), makes cover up/removal much easier, cheaper and less painful. HTH
