Does Pain = Growth
#5

^ I don't have thyroid problems, but my friend does, and I always do the thyroid NBE researching for her. Haha!

When your thyroid hurts, is it like there feels like there's something in your throat? Can you feel it from the outside with your hand? Have you been diagnosed with thyroid problems already?

My friend's thyroid swells up in her throat when it acts up, and makes her feel like she needs to cough something up, but it's never been a sharp pain, so I'm not sure what that might say about your thyroid.

Most often, women with hypothyroidism will have estrogen dominance, meaning, they should take progesterone to counter it. Not sure if it's the same for those with hyperthyroidism. Since you're already using PC, maybe you should cut back on the PM, and try adding wild yam all month long for a slight progesterone boost (people will argue endlessly that WY doesn't convert into progesterone in the body, but all I know is, people use it because it Wworks one way or another). Saw Palmetto is usually recommended for those with thyroid problems, from what I've read, so that's fine.

Wish I could help you more or that I had some personal experience to draw from, sorry. Sad Tibetan really is the best one to ask on this type of thing. ^^;

As far as what's been said already, you are already at a pretty high dose, and if you do have thyroid problems, you should definitely be lowering your dose, if not getting rid of PM altogether. Also, pain does not necessarily mean growth, and even simple tingles are a good sign that something is happening, and the cells in your breasts are "waking up". However, I'm at month 2 of PM as well, and haven't been able to find my perfect dose yet, so I can't tell you from personal experience how my growth would come. But everyone's will be different, so it really doesn't do too much good to compare yourself to other people anyway.

Good luck, and if your thyroid is really giving you problems, you should consider stopping all herbs and talking to your doctor. You may even want to get a hormone test done to see what your best course of action would be as far as NBE.
