Yes it's normal to plateau. Are you taking breaks? Your body needs time to rebuild, like with exercise if you weight train a specific area everyday you will actually get smaller and injured.
Results in the beginning are more dramatic because it's new. As you progress your body will adapt to the stress and change happens less rapidly. Switch up your routine and be patient!
