I've always LOVED Jasmine and Chrysanthemum tea. Hunch confirmed =) there are tons of benefits to both. Jasmine oil massage has reduced menepausal symptoms and may help lower cancer and stroke risks. Chrysanthemum contains many nutrients including amino acids and helps detoxifies the blood. Hmm...wonder what some of the other tasty teas are good for??

And for the most part, the majority of the benefits are directly associated with the plants themselves... You can eat them raw, eat them dried, take them dried in a capsule, brew a tea... All of these ways of consuming them will net almost all the same benefits.
There are SOME certain benefits though that seem to take boiling the plant for some period of time in order to cause a reaction that produces the benefit.
So usually tea is best.
However, there are also benefits for some plants that are destroyed when boiled... so... you just have to be careful and study on what benefits you're after and what's the best way to consume a plant in order to achieve it and not destroy it.
