That's awful. Makes me wonder what the long term effects are from what I'm taking... hmmmm
If he removed the poisons (toxins ) first he could have enjoyed the beneficial aspects of the plant ( Saw palmetto ) and avoided its harmful ones.
Because of his ignorance and believing that natural plants were without harmful side effects he will live out the rest of his life in pain and misery- you can't unscramble an egg!
------------------------
i will tell everyone how to remove the toxins from any plant before consuming it. your plant of choice can be safe to consume.
---
Coffee beans and tea leaves are as toxic as hell, and if eaten those toxins will build up in our body's over time causing a lot of mental and physical distress and eventually death.
animals won't eat them.
Our ancestors learned that if they used boiling water to separate the poisons from the beneficial part of the (tea & coffee plant ) plant, they could enjoy the beneficial ones ( caffeine )
All of the plants consumed on this site are poisonous!
And if your plant of choice was dried ground and put in -say a coffee machine. the liquid would be safe for you to drink, in large quantifies without any harmful side-effects.
capsules could be opened and the powder put in the coffee filter.
general guidelines are 1 level tablespoon ( 2.5 grams ) to one cup of water taken every 6 hours.
--------------------------
All life on this planet must kill and eat, another form of life to survive.
Most life forms have evolve , protection from being killed and eaten.
plants have developed poisons- so if and animal was to eat it first it would taste bitter, next it would make the animal sick causing the animal to develop a taste aversion for the taste of that plant.
if the animal continued to consume the plant - non water soluble toxins would build up in the animals body, headaches, weak, sick eventually causing death.
