No particular difference I would imagine unless you're dreadfully low on your omega 3's.
That said. Omega 3's are HUGELY important, so if you're not getting them, then yes, I'd suggest cod liver oil as one of the best ways.
I wouldn't really recommend the product you've linked though... That'll be exhorbitantly expensive and won't provide sufficient amounts really.

But honestly, the only reason to go with the "raw" fermented stuff is for Vitamin A & D, if your diet has plenty of those, then this should be fine and much much easier on your wallet:
