Some simple things to do to help improve it.
1. Black electrical tape wrapped tightly around it from the base up to the 6 mark, use several layers and be sure to wrap the rubber ring to it too. This will help prevent cracking and seal any future cracks.
2. Get rid of those thick rubber lines that come with it. Use 1/4 air lines. They are easier to deal with and have another benifit
3. The bulb thing will leak after a week or two. So clamp the line with a paper clamp or tiny pair of locking pliers. Air line don't take much force the clamp tight.
4. Take a hot glue gun and put a small bead behind the inside edge of the rubber ring it can dig in to the skin and cause discomfort and possible minor scratching. Careful not to melt the plastic
It what I did with mine and no problems with leaking so far
I dont know which therapy cups you are using or purchase, but the one I used (and recommend earlier) for Small Size is 6.75 inches in height. It is very durable. I have been testing and wear during sleep for 3 weeks and no cracks.
