No, it is not the same. Most of the guys here use a breast pump from England, called "noogleberry". You can buy it at noogleberry.com or probably at amazon.com. I bought my breast pump @ebay and it has silicone rings around the cups, which is very comfortable.
I would say massage is a MUST. So don't be lazy and just do it.
