Not sure this will trigger a period. I always thought a sharp drop in estrogens on day 12 triggers ovulation in one or two days, and the period follows exactly 14 days later.

But by all means try it. The worst that can happen is we learn something.

With a DHEA that high you should be tested for late onset congenital adrenal hyperplasia or (LOCAH). There are several different types of LOCAH, but the most common is when a person is deficient in 21-Hydroxylase Deficiency. When this happens your body cannot properly make cortisol or aldosterone, so the hormone pathway gets "backed up" and you start producing very large amounts of DHEA and testosterone. You would also exhibit symptoms of Addison's Disease if the deficiency is severe enough. Google this.

Definitely have your doctor look into LOCAH. It may be the answer you are looking for.
