I started with a low dose (250 mg), my face suddenly was cover with acne, but when I increase the dose to 500 mg the acne was gone.
For the first two month I cycle, because seems the wise way to go. but to be honest with you, my breast started to grow when i took PM without stopping. 750 mg did the magic.
1000 mg was too much, 500 mg wasn´t enought. 750 mg for me was perfect ( until now )

I doubt you need to be told this, but stop taking pm immediately. There are alternatives like BO or FG.

Maybe it really is a legume. Sad

Sorry. Actually, though...if you really think its blood pressure related, then you could try taking it with something sweet. Or mix it into a lotion and use it externally? If I were you I wouldn't risk it, but.....

Apparently blurry vision can be a side effect? I read symptoms go away when your body adjusts but im still looking for more information as only one place ive read that. It is a legume, but im only allergic to peanuts, i just didnt know if there was a chance of a reaction like with fenugreek. Im not sure whether to stop taking it or not, im feeling much better these past two days, blurry vision aside (its happened twice, for around 5-10 seconds). Im gonna start taking garlic, and fish oil, EPO capsules for blood pressure. I have to add though, each time i got blurry vision it was REALLY late, i had spent the day stuck to my mobile and laptop all day, sleep deprived, so its possible combined with pm that all this triggered it.
As for fenugreek, thats a big no go for peanut allergy sufferers. Not only is it a legume, its very common for it to trigger a cross reaction.

This is from livestrong so im not sure how legit it is

" Treatment with this natural herb may lower your blood sugar. People who already have low blood sugar -- a condition called hypoglycemia -- or receive treatment for diabetes may experience a severe drop in their blood sugar after taking Pueraria mirifica. Hypoglycemia may cause dizziness, sweating, tremors, headache, hunger, confusion, difficulty with concentration, fatigue or blurred vision. If you develop hypoglycemia symptoms after taking a dose of this medicinal herb, consult your doctor"

This seems to make sense to me, since even before pm id get some of these effects when id try and cut out my sugar to lose weight.

If,before taking pm, you had the symptoms when you tried to cut back on sugar, than by all means try taking it with something sweet.

Apparently, in Thailand it's usually taken with honey.

Anyways, that's weird. You're allergic to peanuts and I'm allergic to any kind of nut except for peanuts and macadamia nuts. PM never caused the same kind of allergic reaction as the other nuts did, at least for me.

Peanut allergies are completely seperate from nut allergies (obviously you can develop both) But you CAN develop allergies to legumes if your allergic to peanuts (but that doesnt mean you 100% will), but that isnt the norm for nuts (because a peanut is a legume not a nut). Obviously theres more to it than that, but yeah ....

I usually take PM with hot chocolate but i have skipped it a few times... Oh well, il stop if my symptoms get worse or dont stop.

Sorry for hijacking the thread Blush

I'm sorry to bump up an old thread, but I just started taking my PM, about 4 days into it, and it's causing me to have stomach pain and , um, have to "go #2" a LOT. am I taking too much? the pills I bought are 350 mg. and I was taking 2 a day. Should I cut back to just 1? or will my body adjust if I keep taking the same dose?
