While on the subject of pepper I found out last night that "cayenne pepper" is actually considered highly alkaline.
I knew it was very good for you, but you'd think its burning in nature sensation would be acidic but apparently not.

Oh, thanks, I did not know that, although I usually add it to my food specially to my Greek yogurt which I do not do without (remember what my uncle that was an MD said about it.). POM
