Accurate bra chart?

#11

It's even worse when you are a bio male. If I were to buy a bra based on the bra charts... I would be a 46dd, heck, I am lucky to fill a 40 B, and then it doesn't stay put. Sheesh.. LOL

This still adds inches Sad

Try these best instructions I found but to be honest you shouldn't need a calculater just measure the under bust use that as band size then try on bras for cups.

Thanks Bonita. My under bust is 69/70 cm and my bust 92/93 cm. In Argentina bras come in 80, 85, 90, 95, 100 etc. Am I a 32 D ?

With 23 cm difference between bust and underbust you should be 70F. Not sure which size this is in inches though.

Well this is as clear as MUD!

Haha according one chart, I'm a 34A and the other says 30DD....

Angry

I measured my underbust, but I had a hard time getting the tape to stay put so I did 4 measures. I got 29 one time, 31 the next, and 30 twice, so I'm going to go with 30 in underbust.

I measured around my breasts and got 35in.

I know the 34A is definitely wrong, I have a bunch of 34B's and I spill out the bra in the armpit area. And I don't think there is anywhere in america where I can try on a 30DD...

We used to need to add 4-5 inches to our band size because bras had no elastic in the 50's and 60's but they do now so adding 4-5 inches will result in no support, tissue migration, and needing to replace your bra constantly which equals more money for them. Go to bra stop or miss underpinnings blog or invest in your chest blog and follow their measuring. Do not go to vs since they want your money, but a specialty store that carries all sizes can measure you somewhat accurately. My waist is 23 inches and my underbust is 25 inches so I wear a 26 inch band. After I switched to the right size bra (a 28 f from a 34 c) I gained 2 cup sizes after 3 months because tissue was being shoved into my armpit. I still want them bigger but would probably have been more secure had I realized they were bigger. I thought this was a myth but not for me at least. Your cup size is never definite it is the difference between your overbust and a tight underbust exhaled reading and it should not be done over a bra since you will get the measurements of the bra and not your chest. If you are very thin or odd then add 1 maybe 2 inches at the most but that usually results in your band riding up your back. If the difference is more than 3 inches then you need the support of your size and if you project more than 9 inches then some women find going down a size helps. American bra manufacturers only make bras for women whose waist sizes are between 30 (bra start at 32) and 38 inches with no more than a 5 inch projection which is not the case; thus us women are more likely to wear the wrong bra than a british or polish woman (they make good sizes). The projection is the cup size so a woman with 36 d has 4 inch projection for a total of 40 with a 36 inch underbust but a woman in a 30 ff has a 30 inch under bust has 8 inch projection for a total of 38 inches so the woman with a 36 d may look larger. If your straps are digging in or your band rides up in the back then your band is too big. Bra stop is great for figuring out your size and shape and which bra styles will make you look your best.
