Ok, so I dont ever post here at all, just read all your amazing info and conversations. My only source of internet is an itty bitty phone that is really hard to navigate and read from and i have some wild young boys at home yet, so the library is out. With that being said I am going to say right now that if you welcomely respond to this post and I don't respond back right way, the former circumstances are the reason, and I am not tryin to be rude.
I am not into taking herbs, they dont suite me(make me REALY emotional and break out)... but last month I did try taking saw palmetto, just 900 mg a day. My skin looked amazing and my breast swelled so much! With that came cellulite and constipation even though I felt great.
Finally to my question. Why does saw palmetto cause cellulite? I know some of you are going to say get a hormone test, but my doc said no and wont sign off on saliva testing. Thanks in advance!!

SP is anti androgenic so it will suppress your testosterone and your natural estrogen is more effective .

Thanks myboobs for your reply! I did realize it was an anti androgen, why then doesn't something like spearmint or other anti androgens get comlaints like saw palmetto does for causing cellulite?

It possible of the strength . On other hand you have to remember different ppl have varying responses to herbs.
