oh god, the weight gain!!!

WTF! Ok, so I expected a little weight gain, but I gained 4 pounds THIS MONTH. and 3 pounds last month - thats seven pounds! I've never weighed this much ever. Started at 132, now I'm 139 and it's just rising fast. It's making me nervous, B.O vets- did this happen for you too? I'm wondering if it will just keep on going up or if it will even out anyday now. I haven't changed the way I'm eating either.... seriously if anything im eating less...

On the plus side, I've gained 1.5" in my bust, 1" on my butt, but also 1" in my waist, and it just feels heavy to me :-/

Eek - hoping this will all be worth it in the end!

I've gained 5-10 lbs, but slowly and it fluctuates with my eating/the weather.

Have you made any other additions to your nbe plan?

I've been on 1500mg of Swanson's for just a few weeks but I've not gained any weight. In fact, it's not hindered my weight loss program at all.

Hmm...Well I started taking a few drops of iodine (Lugols)
I certainly didn't think that would be a reason! But I searched it, and it looks like there are a few people who fall into the category of gaining rapid weight - like 2lbs/week on iodine. It seems like the reason for this is Potassium Bromide toxins??? Hmm.

Maybe this is my reason!

Ugh - Maybe I'll stop that for a minute and see what happens...

I gained from the extra protein (which I learned I do not metabolize it very well). I gained 9 lbs and lost it on my fast a few months ago. SO next time, Im going for vegan instead of whey, but I grew quite well with it.

Bromide toxins coming out could very well be the reason for slowing metabolism (thyroid hormone).

Id say be careful adding things during your program, its totally confusing when things like this happen. I hope you find the culprit soon.

Whew! Well, I cut the iodine out, and the weight dropped instantly - within these 2 days. Kinda crazy... granted, it was around my period, but still, that hasn't happened to me before. I think I'll just leave it out for now.

I don't think I'm gonna add another thing until I run out of tincture. My routine seems to be working for me so far, so I'll let it do it's thing now. :-) It's hard not to tinker, but patience is key, right? And I'm feeling lucky because I think that 1/2 inch+/month is pretty darn fast, especially given I've been wishing for results for 3+years.

Tibetan - I know. I feel ya with the vegan protein. I KNOW my body doesn't handle dairy well. But I'm scared to drop the whey. My container is running out, and I'm debating which kind I'll buy next. I'm leaning towards whey for now. We'll see.
