Ah. Different methods have worked for me. I consider myself a Mystique. And I have been reminded many times, by different practices, to ask and receive. Hey, at least that way, I tried. And a lot of the times, that's all it takes before someone say, "I can help you with that!" or "I got one right here for ya!" :}
Sometimes, I just think about, "I wish..." and it almost seems like a passing thought. But I think it has just gotten so much easier for my mind to accept better things that now, I am sometimes surprised to see what I thought about just happen out of the blue. Hahaha. But, of course not really out of the blue, eh? I laugh and also I remember, "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it." So, I check my mind and heart and if necessary, do extra focus on stuff for my best and highest self and others involved to sorta correct my mind meandering.
At irregular intervals, but always, everyday I give thanks for my food, comfort, health, safety, and the love & consideration in my life: I pray (in different faiths), I meditate (many ways).
I have also made gratitude boxes and journals. I just say "Thank you (for such a desire as if it is fulfilled already) and drop it in the box.
I use visualization and mindfulness, that feeling of, "Wow, I am so glad I have that or that happened already!"
The thing that can be more challenging is keeping one's vibration high and focused on higher things. We just have to let go because after all, what has all the negative or low thinking done for anyone? You ever hear happy people saying they got their by hoping for the worst?
