I know at least some of our members are thinking of going
all the way thru transition some day. Well, this article might shed a light on
a female's body that you will try to emulate, except you know at this time you can't have a uterus. Maybe in the future?

No, they can have one now. They've already given a M-F a uterus and they even got pregnant AND had a baby with it!

I wish I could! I read it in a local paper a few years ago. Sorry. :-( Maybe a search online will turn something up.
Of course, they HAD to have a C-section in order to give birth because male hips are just not built for giving birth the normal way.

This is close, but no cigar. At least they say that in just a few years you'll be able to get preggers. Haven't been able to find the story I read, yet.

Yes!! :-) Well, from what I read, they tried it in 2006 and said that within 10 years, they'll have it down perfectly! That means within TWO years from now!! COOL!!

Hmmmmm, one thing I wonder, though; if you save up a bunch of your sperm now, then have SRS including the uterus, could you use your own sperm to get yourself pregnant?? I mean, I'm sure you could, but would it be deformed in some way, like when a brother & sister have a baby together?

You wouldn't be producing your own eggs, so it would just be like a surrogate pregnancy with a separate egg donor.
