Hi, everyone. Today as I was massaging my left breast, I noticed several hairs sticking up. They are thick enough to be of a concern. I've always had very thin fuzzy hair on my breasts, but these hairs seem to appear out of nowhere. My first thought is perhaps my hormones is out of balance with testosterone being up. Is this common? I'm currently taking PM 500mg twice daily and am applying PG cream during the luteal phase. Will be apply PM cream during the follicular phase. Also taking fenugreek seeds as well. The only change I made this past cycle was adding fenugreek seeds and using flax seed oil for massage. How did these hairs seemingly appear out of nowhere?

Progesterone can cause the growth of new hair.
We have hair follicles all over, including our breasts.

Oh! I had forgotten that I sort of noticed that too after I was on PM and herbs for a couple months. Hm. It's gone now, so I forgot. I still massage with PM because when I took it internally, it did such strange things to my body. Tsk. It's always an adventure.

daidzein from fenugreek, pm, other legumes, or coffee could be causing it. Fenugreek and Pueraria m are otherwise good. Green tea reduces dht, and should remove body hair. White peony, and spearmint too. Too much spearmint may be dangerous. Velvet bean or rhodolia also cause body hair growth.

Too much spearmint can be dangerous? What do you mean? I've been taking 1 tablespoon of spearmint twice daily as tea for over a month. Is that okay?

Dried herb and tea are ok. mint family extracts are dangerous.
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/drugi...b_All.html that's the US database of some herbs. Don't take pennyroyal at all. Other mints have less of the toxic chemical. The database also lists peppermint.

Thank goodness it's okay. Thanks for the prompt response.
