Depends on the extract concentration. I've seen extracts that are diluted to one quarter strength and extracts that are 30 times more concentrated. An extract is also easier on the stomach.

hmm, well on 1000mg a day of this shatavari plus one vitex capsule nothing's happening so far, might order some more gr or try fg again

A super minimal amount of shatavari is 2,000 mg. But a strong extract may require much less. A weak extract is different of course.

Man I am too bored this weekend. Oh well works out good for you.

Traditionally 2,000-20,000 mg shatavari is used. However animal studies show greater effect with no toxicity even at 15-30 times as much scaled for body weight. Still 20,000 mg is a pretty safe bet if you want to be sure. I have used about 4 times as much since it is for straight males too. Remember extracts may be equal to more or less so you have to factor that in. But they are a lot easier on the stomach. Since you have had issues in the past with similar herbs increase it gradually and have something sugary handy if you get dizzy.

IIRC vitex increases prolactin at 40-125 mg and decreases it at 250-500+ mg. More than this is ok but doesn't tend to do more. In both cases it has the opposite effect on dopamine. It is pretty weak so you could increase to 100-125 mg. Discontinue if it makes you feel down, or switch to 500 mg.

Thanks, I've upped the dose to 2000. However, once I've run out I don't think I'll continue as it's quite expensive and quite a lot of tablets to take. May even revert to fenugreek and try and put up with the smell (gr is too expensive atm)
