Human Contradictions - It's them not me If you listen to the lyrics, they're very good. The thing that I've seen time and time again is men and women, in turn, saying how they have to heal their partner. What about healing each other?

As we get older that seems to be the case more and more. If you're paying attention at all that is. Men will say how they have to siphon through what another man has put his new partner through. Women will say how they have to siphon through what another woman put him through. And, all of this may very well be true. Everyone has something they've been through, it's not only men, it's not only women. It's everyone you meet. It's me, it's you, it's everyone.

It's good to keep in mind that everyone has things they are trying to overcome. In the same breath, saying it as if it's only men or only women, isn't going to solve anything. Not when it's said out of anger or how much they've done. We do things for others because we want to, we can't predict the outcome, we can only do our best. Sometimes it doesn't work out. Pick yourself up, start over. Maybe next time and try not to take out on the new person, what the old one did. When it comes up, for you, discuss it. Variables apply, some do not have good intentions and this should be taken into consideration because it's true.

Thank you. You're welcome. Blush

I really like this video too for some reason. All the masonic symbolism and at least in my opinion is a beautiful piece of art. It really isn't for everyone but if you are up for a hike away from the norms of conformity ... give it a shot.

hehe Tongue I know, I'm a little weird. But this was pretty much my go to kinda stuff before I started my program which lifted me out of my depression. Who knows what I will end up listening to as my interests have wildly changed.

If by weird you mean NOT normal, then who wants to be normal-not me. Smile POM
Weird is another word for "different". Something I wish to be. If someone calls me weird, I thank them!! I've accomplished my goal!!

Putting aside the meaning of the lyrics which are great btw I reaallyyyyy like that song, the beat the style his voice. Now I couldn't see who the artist was? (Maybe I need to look harder but bunged up with the flu and feel like recycled $&;t) but may I ask the name of the artist? I really love his style

In response to the first two, especially the first one, mostly because I couldn't get my head into the lyrics of the second one because of the imagery. The girl's eyes reminded me SO much of a dear long-lost friend that I haven't seen in nearly 30 years! Wherefore art thou, sweet Jennifer Smith?? I miss you, hun!!

I suppose this is in response to both, as well, but more towards the second one.

Yeah, this one, too.

As for the third one, how nice that they had the foresight to kindly and thoughtfully shield my eyes from the images of naked girl nipples!
No video/music response, at least not at the moment.

When it all comes down to it, THIS is what it all boils down to!

(How strange that, when this record came out in the mid `80's, there were at least 4 other songs out at the exact same time with the exact same title!)

lol ... I have no idea why Nickelback gets so much hate. I actually really like their music. Of course I wouldn't admit that publicly Big Grin Also the name of the band from your post is called "All that Remains". I have seen them in concert I couldn't even tell how many times. It's really ironic too because every time I saw them I was actually there for a different band but I bet I have seen them live at least 10 times. Yeah, I'm a bit of a concert junkie (like 10 a year or so). Those are some great songs though; Thank you for sharing them and I hope you feel better soon.

Here is another good one from my most favorite band ever. I have been following them for about 20 years now and saw them first in concert in 99'. Just a great band.

This one usually makes me cry. I really have a hard time listening to it sometimes but it really is a beautiful song.
