Beginner, is this too much?

#1

I'm 35. I've been massaging twice a day for a few weeks. I use a heating pad before one and do the other in the shower/bath. I follow with volufiline cream. I'm now trying to figure out what supplements I want to take. Below is what I'm considering. I'd love feedback.

I'm exercising to lose body fat, so I'm sure that will affect things. I'm at 21% and would like to get down to 18%. I'm weight training and doing HIIT. I've already lost 5% body fat, along with 2" of boobs! Not crazy about losing boobs. I'm happier with the rest of my body. I still have some belly fat I'd like gone.

Start on first day of period, continue for 14 days, days 1-14:
Pueraria Mirifica 1000 mg
Maca 1000 mg
MSM 4000 mg
Blessed Thistle
Milk Thistle
Hylauronic Acid
Fish Collagen
Calcium
Grape Seed Extract
Turmeric
Massage 2x , Volufiline Cream 2x
Multivitamin

Days 15-28:
Vitex
Milk Thistle
Fenugreek 1800 mg
Maca 1000 mg
MSM 4000 mg
Blessed Thistle
Hylauronic Acid
Fish Collagen
Calcium
Grape Seed Extract
Turmeric
Massage 2x, Volufiline Cream 2x
Multivitamin

Why drop the pm? Would you recommend taking the fenugreek all month then or still just half the cycle? Thanks for replying. Smile

Way to high pm . And there is a lot of negative feedback on pm ESP at that dosage.
I'm not a fan of herbs anymore. You raise one hormone and it potentially decreaes another. I reckon try balance instead. Or alternatively you have a real slim figure like me. Maybe try gain weight by the right food and all the while massage and noogle. Continue with the good supps for your skin elasticity etc like I mentioned earlier.
Being a mum fenugreek/blessed t combo might reactivate some fullness in boobs but for me it was never permanent.. you might be diff though Smile I had poor success BF but the mums that did seem ok with FG.

Maca on its own might do you wonders. It's food based but I know there CAN be side effects too if you take too much too soon. I was ok on 500mg but couldn't go any higher.

Hopefully others will Chime in too. I'm always erring on the side of caution because of what even low dose herbs did to me.

Ps I've taken fenugreek all cycle long but only at 1gram a day and I doubt cycling it would make much of a diff as the conflicting info out there, can't say FG has ever made me gain boobs. if anyone's gonna gain or react to fenugreek surely it's the mums ESP given its a breastfeeding aid.

With that said I'd be curious to see how fg/bt combo works for you. The reviews online from women seemed that adding blessed thistle made a big diff breastfeeding. I'm just not sure how permanent the results would be once you stopped cause by stopping your not boosting prolactin anymore.
Just be aware of your body. If you notice signs of hormone imbalance stop and detox and review your herbs if you go down that road Smile

I think waiting to try the pm is a good idea. Just because I bought doesn't mean I *have* to use it. I worry I might be estrogen dominant anyway. I get real moody, depressed, crying when I start my period (currently, yuck). So you think I should start lower on the maca? I'm sure you're right fenugreek is likely not permanent gains. My boobs got uber sore right away. I'm not currently breastfeeding, though I have for about a combined seven years in the past. I'm definitely not looking to relactate, nor have any more kids. Smile

As for gaining weight, I'm trying to lower my body fat % right now. I do have a slim body type but I gained about 20 lbs of mostly fat drinking cream liquor. Still trying to lose the pudge from that mistake. Once I lose a bit more wiggle I am gonna try to gain weight again by eating at a surplus and lifting weights, so *maybe* I'll be able to be healthier and look better too.

I agree about the PM. I took 1000mg for 15 days and got really sick after. It took months for the back pain to go away; I honestly have no idea why most of the side-effects happened, but I'm pretty sure the PM is to blame. Which was disappointing, because I did get amazing swelling from it.

You might be able to vary your maca dosage a bit. To be honest, I'm not sure how much 1000mg is because I take straight powder. Generally a teaspoon a day, but I'll boost it to 1.5-2 on my workout days. Seeing as you do HIIT, you might want to consider that. And it should help balance your hormones too.

Yeh my thoughts are if you took fenugreek at its full dosage you'd like put on weight all over hence why the old saying goes that harem girls were fed fenugreek to become more BUXOM! Lol is curvy boobs and butts.

So yeh with that said its kinda fifty fifty with maca. Half get boobs the rest get butts. I can advise I got horrible heart palpitations on maca at a higher dose. Now I take half a teaspoon when I take it which isn't consistent. But this latest brand is kinda weak cause I had instant libido boost with past brands.

Maybe see how maca goes but start with half a teaspoon initially

Thanks, I'll try that. Smile Can you tell me what brand of pm made you sick? I bought two different brands. One is lower dose and has b vitamins mixed in, the other was a higher dose of just pm. I was under the impression that more pm was better.

Ellacraig- I would love buxom if it was all in my breasts and hips! Unfortunately I put on quite a lot of belly fat drinking that stupid cream liquor. The nature of the beast, I suppose. I was always slim with a flat belly before that, the annoying kind who never had to count calories and what not. Seems I wrecked that! I don't think my belly will ever be flat again. Terrible because it was nice and flat before when I weighed 120 lbs all those years. Now I weigh 117 lbs and the belly fat still isn't gone. I lost 2" from my breasts and 3" from my belly going from 125 to 117. Still extra belly flab and looseness.

I'll probably be the type who gains butt, seems how I really don't need help there. Smile
