How can I improve the horrible smell of my massage mixture?

#1
Sad

I'm currently massaging with vitamin e lotion, borage oil, fenugreek extract, wild yam extract, and fennel extract. My problem is that the borage oil and fenugreek smell terrible, ESPECIALLY the borage oil. Several people have been telling me that I smell weird lately. Sometimes people won't realize it's me and they'll say something like, "It smell so bad in here!" and I'll start feeling self-conscious. :-/ I can barely stand the smell myself to be honest.

The borage oil smell also sticks to my hands a lot, which adds extra discomfort. I've managed to somewhat solve this problem by scrubbing my hands really hard with a stainless steel soap after I wash them.

I've been really discouraged to massage lately. I want the boobs, but this horrible smell is becoming embarrassing. I don't want to be *that* person who other people move away from because of bad body odor. Sad

Does anyone have any tips?

Chastberry aka Vitex is supposed to have a really nice smell, and it helps with breas enhancement, i think that you coul trade the Borage oil for the Vitex, but im not shure, i don't know a lot about herbs.

I would consider dropping the borage oil. I'll have to look later to see what you could add back to do the same thing. On my way to work.
I would use olive oil with maybe an essential oil for penetration. The fenugreek would smell more like maple suryp. So people would get hungry instead wrinkling their noses. Smile Be careful. You could end up with people following you around. Or asking what new perfume are you wearing. LOL
This page is by fennel fairy on skin structure and adsorbtion for MNBE. Here is the link.

I don't think I'm supposed to be using vitex. :-/

Thanks for the help though. I've decided to drop fenugreek and borage oil for my massage for now. I guess the fenugreek I have is weird because mine smells really bad. I'll consume them both internally until I run out and then I guess I'll just try to replace them with something else.

I used to leave my massage oil on for better absorption but you're right the smell was unbearable. I was in public smelling like curry or maple syrup. I suggest washing it off if you already don't before going out. Mint/peppermint is supposed to offset the fenugreek smell. I tried looking for soaps or perfumes in those scents, but they were kind of hard to find, not to mention drying for your skin. Regular soap and water did it for me although I did have a "stale" scent that lingered for a long, long time. Dodgy For the borage oil, it is helpful because of its GLA content but you can easily swap it out for EPO which also has a high GLA content, albeit not as much, but from personal experience it has no funny smells or texture at all on top of the other hormonal benefits it offers. Hope this helps!

You could try using Palmer's Cocoa Butter with Vitamin E Skin Therapy Oil instead. It's smells heavenly; like chocolate. Heart

I don't know much about using herbs as NBE in general (since I am using BB), but if you are taking herbs internally (as pills or teas), is it still totally necessary that you use herbs in your massage too? Or is the purpose of massage, regardless of NBE method, primarily to increase blood flow? Huh Cuz if I personally were taking herbs internally, I think I'd stick to yummy-smelling massage oil. I'm just saying!!! Big Grin

Massaging the breast tissue increases the blood flow in the breast. From what I have read. The lymphatic system can develop blockages. These blockages can allow buildup of the bodies toxins (can breakdown tissue) that it supposed to be removing. So increased blood flow (more oxygen to tissues) is a good thing. Massaging your breasts can open up these blockages and aid in flushing the tissues. So it is a good idea to do it for general breast health.
When we add herbals to the massage oil. The idea is to directly affect the receptors in the underlying tissue. Instead of just applying through the blood stream.

^ Thanks for the tip! That sounds like it would smell great! It might improve what I've got.

As far as using herbs for massage, I've seen it highly recommended. I think the theory is that if the herbs are absorbed right onto the breasts there's more of a chance that our boobs will be the affected area. The massage motions is also to help circulation, but I think make it estrogenic is important too.
