hi ladies
i read bout "goat rue" somewhere in tis forum....n some of u out there ie s planning to try.....so pls kindly postl ur resolts.....as i was thinking bout ordering it too...
i'm personally a skinny gal but when i'm pregnant, i was up 2 cup size....so i think maybe GR will help me stimulate my growth as it stimulate the glands....currently, i'm on WU....

I'm on it, but only 7 days now so really not sure if it's helping. I have increased in size in the pass 7 days but don't know if it's true growth yet, Aunt Flo is due next week.

How much are you taking?
WU is equivalent to 960mg daily which sounds like a fair amount.

Vegangirl - Whether it's permanent or not doesn't bother me to be honest.
If I get bigger on it, then that in my mind tells me that NBE WILL be possible, and it will push me to find that thing that is going to be permanent. Another reason it doesn't bother me is because we have some women here who have said they used to have implants and maybe it was all mind power, but after they removed them they were able to grow with NBE because it was like their body just needed to feel what it was like to have them for their mind to make it happen.
So I'm optimistic
Moon - I don't know if I'm actually growing or not just yet. I swelled up a bit right after my period and that was really really nice, haha. I'm now about 2 weeks from starting again, and while that good swelling went down, my measuring tape does seem to say I've gained 1/2 an inch. I didn't measure during the good swelling because I was afraid I'd get my hopes up.
I'm trying to take one capsule 4 times a day like it says on the bottle(Motherlove), but to be honest I've just been popping one every time I remember. I think I've been averaging 3-4 a day. I might try uping it to 5-6 like momxseven is doing, 2 3 times a day.
I'm also taking St. Herb, going to switch back to Mirifem next cycle though(more out of convenience than anything)

halome - being optimistic is a good thing!
momxseven - perhaps that is one the reasons nbe has been working so well for you so quickly; with seven kids i doubt you have much time to sit around and watch the grass grow! i think laying off the tapemeasure helps. discouraging yourself definately doesn't!
i actually saw some motherlove products at my local whole foods (just a big ol' commercial health food grocery store for those who don't know), so i think i'll try the smaller health food store nearby. i'd like to hear how it's working for everyone before i jump on the goat rue train.

Vegangirl, I don't see why we shouldn't use GR if it's not permanent, people were willing to massage 80 minutes per day to get non-permanent resuls. But I actually think it's likely GR results would be permanent.

I started taking St Herb in April, along with twice daily cream applications. I admit I didn't massage very long the first few months. I think that might have had a negative effect because I didn't seem to grow any, just swell every couple weeks.
I started the GR on the 24th. Been taking at least 3-4 every day. I upped it to 6 a day like momxseven is doing, just so I can be more consistent. I finished my last bottle of St Herb today, and I will start taking Mirifem on the 14th (about when my period starts again).
I still use the St. Herb cream, and yesterday I started mixing a little wild yam cream with it... even though they say the progesterone in it doesn't get processed, but I have some so may as well use it. With the creams I'm extending my massage time from just throwing the cream on and working it in till I think it's okay, to actually massaging for about 10 minutes for each breast.
We'll see how that goes
Aside from that, I TRY to drink protien shakes every day, but I just am lazy and don't like cleaning my blender so more like once a week LOL. Just recently I have been trying to add booby friendly foods, and cutting non-booby friendly ones to a mimimum.
I also try to listen to hypnosis from Margi every few nights. I've been falling asleep during them though I think, because I'll blank out and wake up as soon as my MP3 player starts playing the next song on there. I also have a CD from Innertalk that has subliminal affirmations that I'll pop my in CD player when I remember... which is rare.

well one month would be 180 pills for me. I take 2 3 times a day. I started with 1 4 times a day and that was hard, I take all the other herbs 3 times a day. So I did 2 in the AM, 1 afternoon and than 1 evening. Well some how I toke 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening a few days before I noticed my mistake, well I had some good pains so I keep taking the 2 pills 3 times a day.

There is no work / doesn't work. What works for someone may not work for another person. But I explained a whole lot of theory in my previous topic about why goat's rue may be a very good choice. But it's a complately new trend on this forum, I don't think anyone before tried GR as a separate herb for NBE. But GR is in WU, plus some other galactogogues, and for something it must be the most sucessful commercial product.

i noticed on the motherlove.com site that the goat rue also comes in a tincture. what do you all think of taking goat rue in tincture form? has anyone tried the tincture? aren't tinctures supposed to be more potent? but the capsules contain liquid, so does it make a difference? i thnk i want to try this after several of you have seemed to have success with it. it IS expensive, but i'm willing to give it a go. If I followed the dosage momxseven is, it would cost me roughly 88 dollars a month just for the goat's rue. is anyone else taking less and seeing promising results? i am 5'9" and only 124 pounds. perhaps i wouldn't need to take that much. is everyone exceeding the recommended dose? thanks!

The Suggested use: 1 capsule 4 times daily. For body weight 175 lbs. and above take 2 capsules 3 times a daily.
This is also one of those things were everyone may need a different dose. I didn't plan on taking 6 pills a day, it was a mix up on my part. I was doing the 4 pills a day the first few days and than some how got mixed up and toke 2 3 times a day and the 3rd day I when to take the GR I said "wait, this one I take FOUR times a day" so I read the bottle and saw that I was taking it wrong but I had breast pain and a "full" feeling so I keep my does at 6 a day. I wait to drop it back down to the 4 pills a day to see if I still gain but I haven't yet. As my bottle gets low I bet I will cut back to see it less just as well.

I estimated that the tincture would come a bit more expensive than the capsules, but now I'm not sure anymore. The capsules contain the extract anyway, so I think the potency is the same.

The 120 count bottle of pills would last 30 days (if taking 4 per day) at $43.95, the 4oz tincture would last 28 days at $33.95. Than there is also the 8oz bottle that would last 56 days at $49.95, that's .22 cents per dose and the pill would be .36 cents each. So it would be cheaper to do the tincture. And it sounds like the potency is the same because of the way they say to take both of them are the same.

Thanks for the info MomX7, I guess I calculated that all wrong. The only problem with tincture is that it must taste horrible. I'm not sure how good applying the tincture on the skin would be tho, I'd bet that it doesn't have as good absorption as in the intestine. Don't throw away your GR, it's so expensive lol!

Why I mentioned it is because hormone specialist Dr.Lee says that absorption through the skin of the breasts and surrounding tissues is the best way in many cases to get the prep. to where it needs to directly go.
Ive read that on two different health sites,dont ask me what they were because I look at many and most of the time dont write down which one was which.
I would think that a tincture would be perfect for absorption.

As to Moon's questions: I was just musing about applying it topically,because many HRT preps are made to be topically applied...
I thought the idea in some cases was to bypass the liver because it reduces the strength and effectiveness of some chemicals as it has the breaking down effects.
What else do you think about that,Moon? Does the chemicals have to go through the liver before they can be utilized?
Ive read a lot on hormone sites that bypassing the liver is best,because the liver slows down absorption sometimes.
It depends on the phytochemical.

They are from the states, but they will send you a catalogue, I sent away for one. There prices are pretty good and they carry alot of herbal stuff, just a thought though.

Hi, I've been bad. I haven't been doing anything right the past 2 weeks. I'm back down to 38in (I was at 38 1/2 last month and got up to 38 3/4 right after adding the more milk) but the kids are back in school so I'm trying to get back on my program. And yes I was only putting the more milk on my breast. Aunt Flow is due in 4-5 days so I'll be able to tell in about a week if I had true loss than.
